DIY fun summer danglers

Welcome back everyone, as for today I'm going to share with you all my latest DIY rainbow dangling earrings.  I was thinking that how it's fun to wear something colorful behind all the black veils and think onix hair as I am referring to the Goths out there.  For the non-Goth people, I hope this would be a fun simple crafting for you as well.

I guess let's get started.  Please say hello to my work/crafting table.  Pardon the messiness btw.

Basically not much stuff needed in this project.  You might have all of them wondering in your pile of junk but anyways I'm still mentioning them to make this post to be lengthy as it is suppose to be.

First of all you need rainbow beads.  I have like a bunch of them because I was so stressed out and all I can think about was bending some wires and make planner charms, which btw you can buy the on my online store *wink*

I have 2 rainbow flows as you can see below.  Then I added the pink tassle so I was like better to have the bead gradient ombre through all the colors including the tassle.  It's more neat I guess.

This is the arrangement of the beads.  Honestly I have no idea how to twist together the headpins with the main chain so that's why I used jump rings to connect them all.

Adding bigger jump rings to the tassles.

And they're done!!!  Simple af!

Seriously it looks nice tho.

Here's my mandatory DIY guru selfie with the earrings.

3 simple DIY and decor ideas that won't burn your pocket.

Remember my DIY mason jar makeup brush holder project?  Ok I get bored with it because I only stuffed it with cotton pads that are used for wiping and removing makeups.

So I went to Daiso and bought 2 tubes of decorative plastic crystals (each tube costs RM5)

Pop them in the jar and bammm!!!!

A more elegante brush holder.

Ok then now you're wondering what's going to happen with the cotton pads?

Well, as a genius person (lol!) I used one of the tubes to stuff the cotton pads and also keep the makeup remover together in it.  Make sure you clean it first but I was too lazy to do it, so I just directly put them in.

I still have excess crystals that can't fit in the jar, so I've cleaned them up with soap and rinse.

Fill in again with clean water and soap, and baaammm!!!!  You just created your very own cheap and fabulous makeup brush cleaner/scrubber.

Don't worry, the crystals won't damage your brushes because the edges are not sharp and each crystals is huge.  Compared to sand or smaller aquarium stones, they will ruin your brushes and (micro-ly) rip off each strand.

To dry them, just put the tube upside down to drip off the excess water.

Hope you guys like it!!!!

DIY Antique Vanity Mini Drawers Project | Accessories Vanity Storage

Yay!!!  Finally I'm so happy that my make-up are finally organized!!!  This is the mini drawers that I talked about before.  It's a very old one, I got it when I was 9-10 and now I'm like what? 22!  Threw my childhood stuff away and now it is reborn into ''the keeper of beauty-ness''

Actually, one side has slightly chipped off because the plastic is very old and dry, so a single rough move, would totally break it.  That's why I coated it first using mod podge to hold everything at least it's doing a slight security to it (should have bought the mod podge hard surface bottle).

Aaaaannnndddd!!!!

Tadaaaa!!!

Painted it  with black base acrylic and roughly swiped some metallic paints to make the antique steel look.

I also added some glitter.  I wonder whether you guys can see them -.-?

So let me show you guys my make up collection.  I don't have much because I hate wasting, so these are the products that I would use to the core.

1st tier: Face Products

2nd tier: For Eyes

3rd tier: For Lips

4th tier: Blusher and Bronzer Palette

5th: Extra storage for palettes, sponges and sanitizers

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, my accessories organizer and storage.  I was so depressed today because I wanted to go out for a date but mom didn't allow it to happen lol.  Sad fucking life.  So I cleaned up my room, finding my scattered jewels, cleaned them up and finally organized them.
I even threw away some of my goth stuff because they were too damage.  Can anyone tell me where to get the silica beads the one that absorbs moisture from the air?  I really need them T_T.
These storage are bought from Daiso.  Each only costs me like 5 bucks.  Tiny, cute and compact.  Worth it girls!!!
So this mini tier cabinet is for random stuff like pendants, hair clips, bangles etc
This squared box is for my couture necklaces.
These are my faves.  Each stack is sold seperately (5 bucks each)
See..see..see..  Very handy and stackable..
Here I found an amazing pill box and coin purse, so I put my earrings and arm candies in them.
More bangles, bracelets and earcuffs.
That's all from me.  Hope this would give you girls more ideas for storage.
Thanks for reading!!!
DIY Light diffusing box | Tutorial link
Yay!!! I've made the ugliest light box ever!!!  But I don't give a fuck because it functions really well. Now I can do my product photoshoot in peace without pissing off with the lighting problems.  I actually planned to do a tutorial video but I'm too lazy for it, recorded halfway them I was like, ''meh these kids would totally get a better tutorial on youtube though.
Making this is easy but i think I should get a thinner paper for the sides because I don't have any bright lamps (saw them but too expensive).  I did my photoshoot using available torchlights at home and direct sunlight but then the picture came out kinda great as well.  Love it!!!
I really think you guys should try making this and it would be better if you have harder and stronger materials than mine.
So here's the tutorial video that I learned from:
Gothic/Punk Bow Clutch Tutorial
So, I did a mishap onto the ''suppose to be eid mermaid skirt''.  I cut it a bit smaller and thus the skirt can't even pass through my hips T_T.  Instead of throwing away the disastrous skirt, I decided to give it a new life.  So I ripped off all the stitches, measured, cut and made a new gothic style bow clutch.
I did my own pattern because I'm a very lazy seamstress, so here's my lazy guide for you lazy people out there.
What you'll need:
1) 2 types of fabric (if you want to use the same fabric for the bow then its fine too)
a) clutch base
-Measuring the width is 30cm (include 1/2'' seam allowance for both sides), the length is optional.
-Shorter length may fit in your phone and wallet but if you cut it longer, you may fit in your ipads and even your laptop.
-This part needs 2 pieces
b) the bow
-If you're using a diff. type of fabric ie. thicker & stiffer, then you only need 1 piece.
-If the fabric is soft, you need to layer it with more fabric to ensure the bow will be in shape.
-When cutting, the width of the fabric must be more than 30cm (less that 30cm will not fit the front of the clutch)
-Length is optional, the longer you cut, the bigger the shape of your bow will be.
2) Thick lining (to slip in between 2 pieces of fabric)
-I used a piece of drawing block paper to stiffen the clutch, if not it won't have any structure and you'll have a hard time of using and carrying the bag.
-You can also used other thick material such as felt, foam etc.
3) Studs, crystals embellishments
-Just go crazy with the decorations
How to:
Pardon my KFC receipt. lol!
1) Divide your fabric into 3 parts.  And follow the photos below to see how I form the bag.
2) Insert the thick lining, and sew the sides together.
How to ''THE BOW":
1) Lay flat the fabric and pin layers of other fabric at the center and pin them.
2) Identify the center of the fabric (orange line), fold the fabric in half and press
3) Once you get the central line, flip the fabric over..
and start pinching from the middle.  Then pinch from top to middle, and bottom to middle and repeat until no fabric left.
4) Here's your bow!!! Pin the bow in place and you can whether sew it or just use the super glue.
p/s: Lazy people use glue -.-
5) Also I did sew a strip of band to wrap around the middle part of the bow.
HOW TO ''ATTACHING THE BOW TO THE CLUTCH''
1) Spread the ''wings'' of the bow towards the very corner of the FRONT FLAP and sew the sides.
Note: You may also tuck in the extra ''wings'' in between the 2 pieces of fabric and do a straight stitch.
2) If you do it like I did, just fold the extra fabric neatly and more glue..
And you're done.
Clothes making #2 *update*
Hey I'm back with my clothes making update.  So I managed to 80% successfully sewed a summer halter top by using the free Burda pattern that i told you guys in my previous entry.  Overall it's very easy, I'm not a professional but I'm happy with my outcome and the top is wearable.  On top of that my friend love it so much.
On the dark side, I really hate my fabric..  Yes, it's a beautiful soft chiffon fabric, easy to cut but it took like a millions years of patience to sew.  Never ever gonna used this type of fabric again I suppose, unless I have gain magical unicorn fingers or whatever.
So here are the progress of what I did..
Newspaper pattern layout :D
After cutting the fabric..
Just so, you can see that my halter is 4 panel halter and not just sewing 2 panels of the front and back part.  I just wanna see how it looks like whether its unique or blerrgh..  But in this case, since it has drawstring halter neckline, you can barely see the panels because of the pleats and ruffley effect.
So that's all for today's entry.  Hope you guys like it!
Have a nice day ahead :D
*UPDATE*
Finally got the chance to wear this outfit to class..  Hopefully I can sell this design (handmade of course) after graduating from this ''hell pit'' :D
